Gathering at Scoulton village hall, 8 hardy riders along with Don, Heather & Heidi, watched as dark clouds flanked us on both side, but as the sunlight beamed down and the wind dropped we thought we might get just get lucky and stay dry. Sadly it was not to be, as the wind picked up just before the start and the clouds rolled in, covering the Carbrooke end of the course in a heavy downpour. Mick Wood put in a strong ride, going over a minute quicker than last week, along with Wesley Hicks and Mark Fairhead who also posted faster times this week despite the soggy conditions.

There’s no club 10 next week (17th) before the SNTT League kicks off on the 24th - meet at Scoulton village hall as usual.
