Club 10 Results: 27/04/2022

With the roadworks at Hingham finally finished it was back to normality with the full 10 mile Hingham to Carbrooke course this week. The wind had dropped and the sun was shining, but there was a very cool nip to the air so it was a toss up between wearing an extra layer or shivering on the startline in a skinsuit for the 6 riders.

Tom Carroll has hit the early part of the season in good form, setting a cracking time of 22:10 - only 2 minutes off his previous week's time on the shorter 9 mile course! It was a tight finish for the rest of the field with the welcome return of Chris Nudds in 25:26, Geoff Frost in 25:36 and G Malliband in 25:52. Mick Wood narrowly edged out Mark Fairhead by just 2 seconds with times of 26:56 and 26:58 respectively.
