SN TT League Round 8 - Results

Hot and sticky was the order of play for Round 8 of the SN TT League after a week of record breaking temperatures it didn’t feel like there was much oxygen left in the air to fill the rider’s lungs as energy levels were sapped into a headwind on the outward leg.

VCN’s Jacob Chambers continued his run at the top with a time of 21:58, nearly a minute ahead of CCB’s Tom Carroll who had to swap out his rear wheel to one usually reserved for the turbo trainer after puncturing at the HQ. Carl Mace of Velouse Flyers was on song despite the hot and sticky conditions with a time of 23:31 ahead of CCB’s Adam Cross in 23:41.

David Collier of Ride Harder took the win in Division 2 with a time of 24:02. A close battle is brewing in the Road Bike category between Team Velovelocity’s Geoff Frost and VCN’s Philip Hargreaves, with times of 25:04 and 25:23 for the two riders.
